Dear Maggie,

You can use one main ad group; a banner or column with the width/height/number of ads you specify.  You can add one ad list, referral buttons for adsense and firefox, and a search field.  I've used as many as is allowed on my home page.

*It is possible to include more ad groups: if you use framed pages or if your webpages are created in a coding language like php and is made up of a number of modules (eg header, footer etc.).  Adsense is content driven, so you need some actual CONTENT on your pages or the ads won't work.

*I have included a 'close frame' link on framed pages to allow users to view the forum, gallery etc. full screen with no ads.  I have also tried to make the ads discreet and I haven't used banners (I think they mess up the design).  I plan to include 'frame buster' code when I get around to it.  For now, the 'close frame' links just open the index in a new page (not the currently browsed page.

If google ads really annoy you, you could disable javascript in your browser, but you'll miss out on a lot of useful content.  Google ads aren't really that bad; they don't pop up or try to install anything nasty.  They give the owner of a website a small revenue to offset hosting costs.  No one makes you click them, so if you don't like them; ignore them or go to another site...  Roll Eyes

First of all up to 3 ads are allowed per page, plus an additional link box. Second yes it works on your home computer as long as your home computer is connected to the web. But remember you are not allowed to click your own ads and you might get suspended if you do (they do not even count the clicks you do).
